UNC's push for an ACC regular season title has reached the final week of the regular season.

The Tar Heels play Duke on Saturday in what may decide the top of the ACC, but first the team plays host to Notre Dame on Tuesday night, who has come on strong to end the season under first year Micah Shrewsberry. This will be the first meeting of the season between the Tar Heels and Fighting Irish, which means that UNC wing Cormac Ryan will face his former team for the first time.

Of course, we are going to target Ryan's player prop with him being at the center of this Tuesday night matchup, but where else should we focus in this ACC tilt? We got you covered below!

Best player props for Notre Dame vs. North Carolina

  • Cormac Ryan OVER 10.5 points
  • Markus Burton OVER 17.5 points

Cormac Ryan OVER 10.5 points

Ryan has seen his usage dwindle a bit of late, scoring a combined 12 points over the last two games, but prior to that he showcased his 3-point prowess, making 14-of-27 3s across three games while scoring at least 16 points in all of them.

Against his former team, I expect Ryan to get a fair share of volume in a projected blowout. Notre Dame is willing to let up 3-point shots, right at the ACC average in terms of conference play 3-point rate, so I can see the former Irish player getting a handful of sets drawn up for him and cashing in in front of the Dean Dome crowd.

Markus Burton OVER 17.5 points

Burton has been doing it all for the Irish. The 5'11" freshman is taking the highest percentage of shots in ACC play, per KenPom, and he is putting up some gaudy numbers.

Burton has scored 20 or more in three straight games, and at least 15 in all but two games in conference competition.

Further, Burton rarely sits! He has played 85% of minutes in conference play and his high usage should lead to the necessary volume to go over this total. With the Irish likely pushing up hill against a far more talented team, expect Shrewsberry to continue leaning on his best player.
