North Carolina and Clemson meet in an ACC showdown on Tuesday night.

The Tar Heels separated from the pack in the ACC standings after handling Duke at home over the weekend, can the team build on its lead atop the league with a strong showing against a slumping Clemson team?

UNC already has beaten Clemson behind a big outing from Armando Bacot, can he put together another strong outing on Tuesday?

Best Prop Bets for Clemson vs. North Carolina

  • Armando Bacot OVER 8.5 Rebounds
  • PJ Hall UNDER 6.5 Rebounds
  • Joseph Girard OVER 12.5 Points

Armando Bacot OVER 8.5 Rebounds

Bacot is a terrific rebounder, he's grabbed double digit rebounds in 10 of 22 games this season, which is well above this total. Let's go back to his Clemson game on Jan. 6, when he hauled in 16 boards in the Tar Heels win.

This wasn't an outlier, though. The big man has gone over this total in the two prior games last season as well. The Tigers are a middling rebounding team, so Bacot can use his high motor to clean the glass.

Lastly, both teams are bottom third in ACC effective field goal percentage, which means there can be plenty of misses as well for Bacot to grab.

PJ Hall UNDER 6.5 Rebounds

While I like Bacot's over, I like Hall's under in a battle of two premier ACC big men.

Hall is a capable rebounder, averaging above this mark, but is prone to getting into foul trouble, racking up four or more fouls in half of the 10 ACC games this season. In a game against a UNC team that is third in free throw rate and has a physical big man in Bacot, Hall may have his minutes limited yet again.

He grabbed five rebounds in the prior matchup against UNC, I think he goes under yet again.

Joseph Girard OVER 12.5 Points

Girard is the Tigers' most dangerous weapon on offense and the Tar Heels need to be on notice. The Syracuse transfer is shooting 42% from beyond the arc this season and UNC is still vulnerable from deep despite teams shooting poorly.

The Tar Heels are outside the top 300 in open 3 rate, per ShotQuality, but teams are shooting below 27% from beyond the arc against them in ACC play. I believe Clemson, can find some shooting success by way of its starting guard.

Girard has gone over this mark in three straight games while hitting at least two 3s on at least five attempts. He's the one to watch on the Clemson side.
