UNC in NBA: Raymond Felton gets married over the weekend

Raymond Felton adds to the list of former Tar Heels to get married this summer.

A star on the 2005 National Championship team, Ray Felton became the fourth member of the Carolina family to get married over the past couple of months.

Surrounded by former teammates and loved ones, Felton tied the not with Tabitha Tuggle in Ft. Worth over the weekend.

Two of the members of the wedding party (pictured above/below) were Marvin Williams and David Noel.

They were all members on the 2005 National Championship team and all played vital roles in the Championship run.

Over his three years at Carolina, Felton appeared in 101 games and had an average of 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists, winning the Bob Cousy award following his ’04-’05 season.

This is Felton’s second marriage after getting divorced in 2014.

Signing a free agent deal with Oklahoma City this offseason, Felton will be in his 13th season.

He has career averages of. 11.9 points on 41.3 percent shooting and 5.7 assists over his tenure with the Bobcats, Knicks, Nuggets, Trail Blazers, Mavericks, and Clippers.

Felton keeps a good summer going as he also received another honor this month by being named to the All-Time Charlotte Hornets NBA 2k roster.

New to NBA 2k’s game, each organization gets an All-Time team with current and former players.

As mentioned, other Tar Heels to get married this summer.

That list includes Harrison Barnes, Justin Jackson, and Marcus Paige.

The Carolina family just continues to grow more and more.
