The UNC basketball program hosted a five-star power forward for an unofficial visit Saturday according to a report

The recruitment of five-star power forward Isaiah Todd has been a quiet one so far as the recruit really hasn’t tipped his hand as to where he is leaning.

Todd did announce a list of five finalists in early August with North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan and Memphis making the cut but since then, not much has come out. He will start taking his official visits beginning with the Wolverines next weekend and will finish those up before he makes his decision. The power forward is in no rush and this recruitment will likely drag out until 2020.

But while he prepares for those officials, Todd is taking some unofficial visits in the process specifically recent ones to UNC.

Todd was on campus the weekend of September 8th as UNC beat Miami in their football home opener. He posted photos of himself on the unofficial visit in a Tar Heels’ jersey as he was one of two recruits taking an unofficial that weekend.

Now just two weeks later, Todd is back on UNC’s campus.

Jake Weingarten of Stock Riser’s tweeted out that Todd was taking another unofficial visit to UNC this past weekend:

While Todd hasn’t really revealed a favorite or anything, him continuing to unofficially visit UNC is interesting. It’s been hard to gauge anything from his recruitment or even where the Tar Heels stand but we have to imagine they are likely on top of his list.

This likely won’t be the last time we see him unofficially visit UNC either as he’s just down the road in Raleigh, making it an easy trip.
