Another week of ACC Football, another round of Coastal Division Power Rankings

Week 11 showed us that Chaos is not limited to just the Coastal Division.

Let’s start in the Big Ten where chaos reigns in the East.

Michigan’s loss to Iowa ended their run at an undefeated season. It also made it harder for Ohio State to make the Big Ten Championship game.

Why? Because now if the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines in the Big Game and Penn State wins out, the Nittany Lions win the East.

The Pac-12 also got a little chaotic. USC’s victory over Washington kept the Trojans Pac-12 South title hopes alive. USC is just a half game behind Colorado and own the tie breaker.

However, assuming both win next week, the Pac-12 South will come down to Utah Colorado to end the season as the Utes beat the Trojans earlier this season.

The Huskies loss also helps out instate rival Washington State. The Cougars can clinch the Pac-12 North if they beat Colorado this weekend and Washington loses to Arizona State. If not then the Apple Cup becomes one of the most important games of the season.

In the Big 12, Chaos reigns and it is a good thing. West Virginia could win out, be the only Big 12 team with one loss and still lose the conference. The Big 12 most likely will come down to Bedlam and unlike the Apple Cup, this is a regular occurrence.

The Big 12 also benefits from the other Chaos as it reopens the door for a two-loss Big 12 Champion to sneak in.

In the SEC, chaos put an end to the Iron Bowl. Auburn losing to Georgia gave the SEC West to Alabama. Speaking of the Tide, the only thing Chaos really did was further prove that this season there is Bama and everyone else.

In the ACC Atlantic, Chaos also peeked in.  Clemson lost on a last second field goal to Pitt and Louisville kept hope alive. The Cardinals conference season is done.

A loss by the Tigers to Wake this weekend and Louisville wins an Atlantic that Clemson supposedly locked up a month ago.

And of course, chaos reigns supreme in the Coastal. It is what makes ACC Football so exciting. So let’s get started with a new team at the top and the bottom.
