In the history of North Carolina Tar Heel basketball, there have been a lot of great players.
And there have been legendary players.
Tyler Hansbrough fits into the category of legendary players.
From the first year Psycho-T set foot on campus, he made an impact, and that impact only grew each of the four years he wore Carolina Blue.
Not only was Tyler Hansbrough a great player for UNC, but he was also a fan-favorite, and well-liked by Tar Heel fans. Not so much by other teams, but he was adored by the Carolina faithful.
To this day, North Carolina fans still love him in the NBA. Recently, the Charlotte Hornets signed Tyler to a contract, making his return to the Carolina’s official.
