5.  Marquise Williams plays the majority of snaps at quarterback

I believe that Williams will get the start against Liberty and the first chance to prove himself.  Mitch Trubisky will undoubtedly get snaps the first couple games of the season, but I think that, as the year goes on, Williams will begin to get more and more playing time.

Williams showed last season that he is a very good quarterback, with a good arm who can also gain yards on the ground.  I think that the battle with Trubisky this offseason will have gotten Williams even better, and he will be ready to make his mark this year.

Williams will play well enough the first few games to warrant more playing time—if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?—and Trubisky will never get much of an opportunity to prove himself.  Is this fair for Trubisky? No.  But it is the way that college and professional sports work.
