Walker and Lawrence are UNC’s starting cornerbacks. Stewart the top backup there. Miles a backup at the ram position. — Andrew Carter (@_andrewcarter) August 27, 2014
In Larry Fedora’s post practice press conference, he repeatedly gave “violation of team policy” as the reason behind the suspension. However, ABC 11 is reporting that the players were suspended for their role in the alleged hazing incident involving walk-on wide receiver Jackson Boyer. Once again, however, Coach Fedora gave “violation of team policy” as the reason behind the suspension.

North Carolina is playing Liberty, so the Heels are unlikely to suffer too much on the field because of the loss of the four defensive backs. Players underneath them on the depth chart will get a chance to start and prove what they can do on the football field. Kedrick Davis and T.J. Jiles are listed below Brian Walker on the cornerback depth chart. The third string corner behind Desmond Lawrence and M.J. Stewart was junior Alex Dixon. All three of those guys will get ample playing time on Saturday night.
