The ACC named their annual Preseason ACC-Team today and only one North Carolina Tar Heel made the team. Return specialist Ryan Switzer was voted to the tea after an impressive season last year. Switzer is one of the Tar Heels most dangerous players and could turn any game around for them.
The 5-foot-10, 180 pound receiver is a key player for the Tar Heels this season both offensively and on special teams. As a freshman Switzer had five return touchdowns last season which tied the NCAA record and broke the North Carolina record.
Switzer was also named a SportingNews Preseason All-American.
Florida State led all ACC teams with nine selections including Jameis Winston who is the defending Heisman Trophy winner and has been named the preseason MVP for the conference.
Will it be a big year for Switzer and the Tar Heels? We all hope so.
