The North Carolina football program is starting to turn things around and is heading in the right direction. For the fourth year in a row, a UNC football player was selected in the first round of the NFL draft (Eric Ebron – No. 10 – Detroit). The team went 6-1 down the stretch last season before ending with an emphatic 39-14 pounding of Cincinnati in the Belk Bowl. Here are three reasons why I think the Tar Heels will be the favorite to win the Coastal Division in the upcoming season.
