North Carolina managed to avoid a major upset Saturday as they pulled off a 60-56 win at Virginia Tech. The win extended the Tar Heels win streak to 11 games and are one of the hottest teams in College Basketball.

The Tar Heels are now guaranteed a top four seed in the ACC Tournament and will have a bye until the quarterfinals.

Although it wasn’t an impressive win on the road, it still counts and continues the Tar Heels momentum into the final two games of the season. Two games that are big for the Tar Heels seeding wise and could determine their tournament future.

Here are some takeaways from today’s win in Blacksburg.
