UNC Basketball: Duke beats UNC if...Theo Pinson switches commitment, plays for Duke

USA Today’s Jason Jordan is having some fun with the recruits of North Carolina and Duke this week with their first anticipated match-up of the season on Wednesday. Jordan asked each of the recruits who would win Wednesday’s game but also asked each of them how the other team would win. Duke recruits obviously pick Duke to win and UNC recruits have picked UNC, Harry Giles on the other hand picked them both.

Theo Pinson predicts a North Carolina victory on Wednesday and that Duke needs a lot of luck:

The winning team will be…

“Definitely, North Carolina. I think we win by seven. Our length and size will bother them, and we’ll win on the offensive glass too. We’ve got this.”

Duke wins if…

“I switch my commitment and commit there before the game then suit up a whole year early and play for them. As long as I suit up for Duke then they’ll win. Good luck with that!”

There is nothing like the Duke vs. North Carolina rivalry and if the rivalry on the court wasn’t big enough, the recruits get into it too. Pinson will get his taste of the rivalry in person on Wednesday when he attends the game. Inside Carolina has confirmed Pinson will be in attendance for the game along with Justin Jackson.
