USA Today’s Jason Jordan is having some fun with the recruits of North Carolina and Duke this week with their first anticipated match-up of the season on Wednesday. Jordan asked each of the recruits who would win Wednesday’s game but also asked each of them how the other team would win. Duke recruits obviously pick Duke to win and UNC recruits have picked UNC, Harry Giles on the other hand picked them both.

Earlier we posted that Theo Pinson predicts UNC will win and that he would have to commit to Duke and play for them on Wednesday for them to win the game. Joel Berry obviously picks a UNC victory, but says that they need the Cameron Crazies to win:

The winning team will be…

“North Carolina! We will win by 10! Duke has a lot of great players and it will be a competitive game, but of course I have to say we will win. They might have a lot of talent, but we have talent too and the game will be so hyped up on Duke and its players and that will make us come out hungry and get the win.”

Duke wins if…

“I take the night off, go camp out in front of that little high school gym Duke has and stand in the crowd like one of those Cameron Crazy people.”

Berry made the declaration that he will win a national championship at UNC and that he will wear jersey No. 2 next year. Also, be sure to check out our exclusive interview with Joel Berry and get to know more about the young and exciting point guard.
