UPDATE [5:08 PM]: ESPN has confirmed that tonight’s game will be broadcast on ESPN3 (Watch ESPN), but will not be broadcast on ESPN2.
UPDATE [4:05 PM]: ESPN is now reporting that they are working to get tonight’s game to broadcast on Watch ESPN/ESPN3. I expect GT will use their own video equipment and the audio will come from each school’s radio broadcast team.
Tonight’s scheduled game between North Carolina and Georgia Tech will still go on as scheduled. However, it will not be broadcast on TV as scheduled on ESPN 2.
ESPN announced earlier this afternoon that they will not air tonight’s game as they had been scheduled to. ESPN cited that safety concerns for their crew and employees were their primary concern.

There has been no report of the ACC network or another network picking up coverage of tonight’s game to air on television, but there will be free online audio coverage. GoHeels.com will be offering free audio/radio coverage of tonight’s game on their website. If you’re in the local area (RDU-Chapel Hill), 106.1 The Talk will broadcast the game as always too.
Keeping It Heel will also provide coverage of tonight’s game on Twitter for those who cannot listen in on the broadcast. If another network picks up tonight’s game, KIH will keep you updated. However, it is not expected that the game will find another network as ESPN and the ACC have a contractual agreement.
