Larry Fedora has added yet another gem to his 2014 recruiting class at North Carolina. Three-star wide receiver Devin Perry announced his commitment to the University of North Carolina over the weekend.
Perry is a 6-2, 182 pound receiver from Memphis, Tennessee and will bring a deep threat that will fit immediately in Coach Fedora’s offensive playbook.
Perry’s commitment marks No. 21 for North Carolina’s 2014 class and is the fourth wide receiver to commit to the program for 2014. With some early departures, Fedora is plenty of talent coming in to compete for the vanacies left behind by those entering the NFL Draft later this year.
Committing to North Carolina, Perry turned down scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Indiana, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.
Gunter Brewer and Chris Kapilovic were the primary recruiters from UNC working with Devin Perry. Perry noted that Coach Brewer was an excellent coach and really made him feel welcomed at North Carolina. So give this victory to passing game coordinator Gunter Brewer!
