Before head coach Larry Fedora can even put the final stamp on his 2014 recruiting class, the North Carolina Tar Heels have started to make a move on 2016!
Ryan Bartow of 247 Sports is reporting that North Carolina has indeed already extended a scholarship offer to 2016 dual-threat quarterback Feleipe Franks.

Franks is a 6-5, 205 pound quarterback from Crawfordville’s Wakulla High School in Florida. With his senior year still several years away, it should come as no surprise that Franks isn’t showing any interest in one or a few particular schools just yet.
However, Franks has received numerous scholarship offers already. Those offers come from the: Clemson Tigers, Florida Gators, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Jacksonville State Gamecocks, Mississippi State Bulldogs, North Carolina Tar Heels, Southern Miss Golden Eagles, and Vanderbilt Commodores.
The 2016 quarterback is not ranked nor rated yet by 247 Sports, but the fact that top programs such as Clemson and Florida have already put forth an offer is promising. You can expect to see Franks ranked among the best and on the top of the quarterbacks of his class. After watching film, Franks easily could be a four-star talent if not five-star quarterback.
