With Justin Jackson, Joel Berry, and Theo Pinson locked in for North Carolina’s 2014 recruiting class, head coach Roy Williams has remained rather quiet in recent months about rounding out his 2014 class for UNC. However, according to Evan Daniels, Williams isn’t satisfied with his top-5 ranked class as it stands and is still searching to land one more piece to the puzzle.

Yesterday, Daniels reported that Williams visited Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter earlier in the day and then went to watch Rashad Vaughn later last night.

So far the new year hasn’t brought much joy to Coach Williams and with a week “off”  before North Carolina’s next game on Saturday against Boston College, it was a good escape for Williams to scout his targets and meet with them.

Vaughn is scheduled to make an official visit to UNC early in February after canceling his originally scheduled visit in November. It gave UNC fans quite the scare about Vaughn – as many fans are hoping to see him wear the famed Carolina Blue come October beginning with Late Night with Roy!
