The only small forward on Roy Williams’ 2015 recruiting board is on his way to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Brandon Ingram is reportedly making an official visit to UNC on January 26th when the Tar Heels take on the Clemson Tigers.
Jason Jordan from USA Today Sports was first to report the visit last night via Twitter:

The 6’8″ and 180 pound forward is from Kinston, North Carolina the home of Tar Heel alumni Reggie Bullock. This will not be Ingram first visit to Chapel Hill as he has previously attended games this season, but this will be his first official visit.
Ingram has received offers from Clemson, East Carolina, Minnesota, North Carolina State, VCU, and Wake Forest in addition to his offer from UNC. The Tar Heels and NC State are the favorites for Ingram. Both schools have a need for talent at each position for the next two seasons, but both programs need depth at each position. Something North Carolina had hoped to have, but with injuries and the dismissal of PJ Hairston they’re slowly losing.
