The Tar Heels (1-5; 0-3 ACC) will be at home for the second consecutive game this weekend. The Boston College Eagles (3-3; 1-2 ACC) will make the trip South from the North.

While Boston College started started off the season strong, they’ve declined in recent weeks as they’ve hit the tough section of their schedule. The Tar Heels meanwhile, started out slow but even in the midst of some of the toughest games on schedule shown steady improvement and come close to some big wins.

The Eagles will give North Carolina their best chance to turn their season around at a critical point. With five losses already, UNC must win from here on out to qualify for a bowl game. If not, they’re looking at two years without post-season play.
