2013 has been an absolute nightmare for Larry Fedora’s Tar Heels. As if things couldn’t been tougher, or more stressful, the Tar Heels now have to travel to Virginia to play a red hot Virginia Tech Hokies team that has won four straight games.

While the stat line favors Bryn Renner in the passing game, the stats heavily favor the Hokies in the rushing game. If you’ve seen any North Carolina games this season, that’s not warming news. Of course there have been issues for UNC in defending the passing game as well.

The Tar Heels are 1-3 and are struggling on defense while not being able to get the offensive fire lit too.

The Tar Heels should be ready to unload at Lane Stadium like a raging bull after an embarrassing and stunning upset loss against East Carolina in Chapel Hill. If there is no motivation, it could be a long day for North Carolina!
