North Carolina looks to even up their season by returning home and defeating East Carolina. The Pirates have only won against North Carolina twice, but they’ve got a stellar team this year and they could stun the Heels at Kenan.

With Darius Lipford and Narkeithus Otis playing the Pirates offense better show awareness and be prepared. Both Lipford and Otis have left offenses frustrated in the first three games of the season.

Bryn Renner knows the North Carolina offense has their “back against the wall” and they have to finally start playing better than they’ve been. Wins are always important but when you look at the upcoming schedule for the Tar Heels, wins become even more important.

The kickoff for Military Appreciation Day is 12:00 p.m. later today, and the Tar Heels and Kenan are both showing their patriotic colors this weekend.
