2014 is almost complete for Roy Williams and his recruiting class. One more piece of the puzzle is needed and it is down to Robert Johnson, Rashad Vaughn, or Dante Exum. Johnson and Vaughn are the two players that UNC has the best chance to land to finish up their recruiting class for next year.
6’5″ and 203 pound shooting guard Rashad Vaughn has finally scheduled a visit to Chapel Hill this season. Vaughn will be on campus during the last weekend of the month (September 27th).
Vaughn was heavily pursued by Williams’ staff earlier this year, but the staff cooled down to focus on a few other players. It became obvious after Justin Jackson’s commitment that Vaughn had lost a great deal of interest in North Carolina. Minnesota and Kentucky began to become the favorites.
UNC will have Rashad Vaughn on campus for an official visit on September 27th. He’ll go to Baylor the weekend of October 18th.

In the last few weeks the Tar Heels staff has lit the fire again and begun to reach out more often to Vaughn. Earlier in August, he listed North Carolina, Arizona, Baylor, Iowa State, Kentucky, UConn, Kansas, UNLV, Georgetown, UCLA and Minnesota as his favorites.
Vaughn has received numerous offers from schools across the country including, but not limited to: Arizona, Baylor, Georgetown, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, and more.
