NFL Mock Draft: UNC's Jonathan Cooper to the Buffalo Bills

FanSided’s featured NFL site, NFL Mocks, dedicates every second of their work to providing NFL draft coverage. Obviously their specialty is mock drafts and they just recently updated their mock draft and it included many changes to their previous one. Included in that change is North Carolina offensive guard Jonathan Cooper.

NFL Mocks now has Cooper being selected very early in the first round as the eight overall pick to the Buffalo Bills. Here is what our FanSided NFL colleague Sayre Bedinger has to say about the Bills drafting Cooper in the first round.

The Bills signed Kevin Kolb to a two year deal, proving they are more comfortable with the second tier of QBs in this year’s draft, in my opinion. I think the next best option is to replace Andy Levitre up front with a guard who can do it all. Cooper is more athletic than Chance Warmack, so he gets the nod here.

Cooper is know for his speed and footwork. He is a big guard but can move quick and adjust his footing to guard the quarterback and provide openings for the running back to slide through.

With the Bills most urgent need covered with the signing of Kolb, they can focus on adding strength and size to their offensive line to protect their quarterback.
