UNC Basketball: Reggie Bullock and PJ Hairston’s Uncertain Future

Tar Heels fans are on edge now that the season is over and it’s not because they didn’t make it to the Final Four. Rather, it’s about the uncertain future of Reggie Bullock and PJ Hairston.

James Michael McAdoo? I think we all agree he is the least NBA ready player on the team, but I don’t think many of us truly would miss him.

Bullock and Hairston however are the heart and soul of the North Carolina offense. They are adored by all of Tar Heel nation.

After losing four of five starts last season, the last thing fans want to see is their team lose four of five starters for the second consecutive year. They want their team back and back to contend for the national championship.

However both of their mothers have confirmed to The Observer that their sons are not rushing a decision on their return or if they will enter the NBA draft and that they are still just thinking about their future’s.

Hairston’s mother says that he has been looking at his options, but was no where near a decision (source: The Observer).

As for Bullock, his mother says the he’s been discussing it, but is still weighing his choices (source: The Observer).

Hairston is the most NBA ready of the Tar Heel trio that could leave early. However, an addition year for him and the others would greatly benefit them and their stock in preparing them for the future.

Bullock on the other hand has a family to begin investing in and his decision may be a mix of both personal ambitions and providing for his family.
