Creighton’s Ethan Wragge still wrestles with aftermath of foul on UNC’s Kendall Marshall
When Creighton forward Ethan Wragge got back to Omaha following last season’s NCAA tournament loss to North Carolina, one of the first things he noticed were his Twitter mentions. He’d played 15 minutes and scored nine points in the Bluejays’ 87-73 loss in Greensboro, but for Tar Heels fans, in the hours following the game, he’d become the story. UNC bracing for impending blizzard, showdown with Kansas
North Carolina’s 78-71 victory against Villanova didn’t just help the Tar Heels advance to Sunday’s second round of the NCAA tournament. It also helped them avoid a potential travel nightmare getting out of town. According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm warning for the greater Kansas City area. Tar Heel Lacrosse Topples Top-Ranked Terps 10-8
Freshman goalkeeper Kieran Burke made 15 saves and Jimmy Bitter and Joey Sankey recorded hat tricks as #14 North Carolina defeated #1 Maryland 10-8 Saturday afternoon at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. A crowd of 3,053 fans saw the Tar Heels beat Maryland in the regular-season matchup for the fourth straight year to improve to 5-3 on the season and 1-1 in the ACC. (GoHeels.com)

Tudor: UNC’s to-do list against Kansas
Stay calm: Bad weather in the area no doubt will keep a few Kansas fans at home, but the Sprint Center will basically be Allen Fieldhouse II. The Tar Heels (25-10, No. 8 seed) will have to keep their composure throughout but especially during the first several minutes. Unlike most UNC teams, this one isn’t great at staging comebacks in hostile buildings. (WNCN)

UNC Baseball: Tar Heels Sweep Boston College In Double Header
Earlier today in the first of two games, the North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the ACC’s worst, Boston College, 11-0. It was another dominant game for Kent Emanuel on the mound, but the Heels weren’t done with Boston College yet. (Keeping It Heel)

Jackson Simmons an unexpected closer for Tar Heels
Four starters huddled around Jackson Simmons to offer encouragement after he missed his third straight free throw. When Simmons finally converted on his fourth try, he headed to the bench with only a few seconds remaining in North Carolina’s 78-71 victory against Villanova.
