UNC Football Recruiting: Trevion Thompson Impressed with UNC Offense

One of the most successful things Larry Fedora and his coaching staff have been able to accomplish is recruiting. They know how to recruit for their unique style of offense. Thus, the speed and athleticism of Trevion Thompson has led them to pursue his talents.

Thompson is a 6’2″ and 177 pound four-star wide receiver from Hillside in Durham that is loaded with talent and the perfect skill set to play for Fedora.

He was recently asked if he had any favorites yet and replied that he didn’t. Thompson did say that North Carolina and Clemson are recruiting him the hardest.

Thompson resides just miles from Chapel Hill and has made several trips to the campus to see the school and meet with the coaches. He was in attendance for the North Carolina v. Duke game earlier this month. That was his first trip to UNC since his Junior Day appearance in January.

In addition to North Carolina and Clemson, Thompson has received offers from: Duke, Florida, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

Thompson is in no rush to determine where he will play college football, so don’t expect a decision anytime soon. Hopefully, he will however provide a list of top choices soon!
