UNC Vs. Georgia Tech: Game Time, Odds, Live Stream, TV Coverage And More
North Carolina Tar Heels 17-8 (7-5 ACC) Vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 14-10 (4-8 ACC)
UNC faces off with ACC rival Georgia Tech in a must win game as they sit on the NCAA Tournament bubble. ACC basketball has been everything but predictable this season; although the Tar Heels are heavily favored to win you never know what you are going to get from these two young teams who should provide an exciting match up. P.J. Hairston, Cameron Crazies have Tar Heels focused
Duke’s famed student section didn’t just fire up the Blue Devils during last week’s game against North Carolina at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Cameron Crazies also provided motivation for UNC senior Dexter Strickland. Strickland heard Duke students chanting “NIT” late in the Blue Devils’ win, a reference to the Tar Heels’ tenuous hold on an NCAA Tournament bid. (Durham Herald-Sun)

Georgia Tech braced for UNC ‘arsenal’
Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory may not see Tuesday night’s matchup with North Carolina as a measuring stick, an opportunity to gauge the Yellow Jackets’ progress since their 79-63 loss to the Tar Heels on Jan. 23. “You’re not in a vacuum where, OK, these 40 minutes compare to those 40 minutes,” Gregory said. If not that, then the Tar Heels will be a stress test for the Jackets. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

UNC-Georgia Tech Capsule
North Carolina will hit the road to play Georgia Tech two days after avenging an earlier loss by beating Virginia 93-81 Saturday. Beating Virginia is currently the Tar Heels second best win of the season behind a non-conference win over UNLV. The win helps push UNC back into most bracket projections for the NCAA tournament but a loss against Georgia Tech would spell trouble. (Tar Heel Illustrated)

P.J. Hairston Named Co-ACC Player of the Week
North Carolina’s P.J. Hairston and NC State’s Scott Wood have been named co-ACC Players of the Week. Hairston set career scoring highs in consecutive games this past week, scoring 23 at Duke Wednesday and 29 in Saturday’s win over Virginia. The Greensboro, N.C., sophomore also tied his career high with eight rebounds against the Blue Devils and added seven more rebounds against Virginia. (The ACC)

Beyond the Arc: It’s bubble time already
North Carolina and Maryland both enhance their NCAA tournament chances with big wins Saturday. The Tar Heels got themselves off the bubble (at least for now) by blitzing Virginia’s league-leading defense for 93 points in a convincing victory. The Terrapins, meanwhile, got themselves onto the bubble by withstanding a late charge to upset No. 2 Duke. (Wilmington Star News)
