Barnes had perhaps his best game as a pro on February 2nd with 21 points on 9-11 shooting in 39 minutes in a win over the Dallas Mavericks. Barnes will take part in NBA All-Star weekend in the Rising Stars Challenge along with fellow rookie Tyler Zeller.
Barnes was apart of a great Tar Heel draft class that saw four first round picks come out of Chapel Hill being drafted with former teammates Tyler Zeller, Kendall Marshall and John Henson.
