Football Recruiting: Nazair Jones Signs LOI With North Carolina

Nazair Jones has signed his letter of intent to play college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Nazair Jones chose to play for Larry Fedora at UNC over South Carolina and Virginia.

Jones in one of 15 commitments to make his pledge to North Carolina prior to the start of the 2012 season.  Jones is rated one of the best defensive ends in the state of North Carolina and should compete for early playing time.

Jones early commitment like many Tar heels in this class has not received as much publicity as the ones that will occur closer to signing day. Jones is a big time athlete that the Tar Heels.

Jones is the tenth signee in the 2013 class that has targeted four defensive ends.  With college football moving to a pass happy offense teams need to be able to rotate eight to ten fresh defensive linemen each game.  The tar Heels are loading up on defensive linemen in hopes to put more pressure on opposing defenses.
