Greg Webb has signed his letter of intent to play college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Greg Webb chose to play for Larry Fedora at UNC over Alabama, Clemson, Miami, Michigan and over twenty other schools who offered the four star defensive tackle.
Webb originally committed the the Penn State Nittney Lions, but flipped to North Carolina after a visit in July with high school teammate and UNC commit Daujuan Drennon.
Webbs LOI is the sixth signee for North Carolina and with Sylvester Williams entering the NFL playing time will be up for grabs at the defensive tackle position. Webb has the size and ability to compete early for playing time, but the defensive tackle is still rehabilitating a torn ACL he injured last year. The best plan would allow Webb a year to become stronger and faster while allowing his knee to heel, but the new Jersey native is anxious to see the field.
