2014 SF Justin Jackson Sets First Official Visit to UNC on March 3rd

Five star 2014 small forward Justin Jackson of Spring, TX has chosen UNC to take his first official visit and will come to Chapel Hill on March 3rd.

Jackson is a top priority of the Carolina staff and has already visited UNC on unofficial visits, most notably he was in attendance for Late Night with Roy this year.  Roy Williams took the trip to Texas for an in home visit with Jackson on January 18th and spent four hours with Jackson and his family.

Jackson is an athletic wing with a high basketball IQ, Jackson is a very good shooter and can get to the basket.  Listed between 6-6 & 6-8 he has decent strength, he could end up evolving into a PF by the time he reaches college ala John Henson. Defensively he’s solid and holds his position well.   Of the perimeter players with offers from Carolina (Theo Pinson and Justise Winslow are the others) Jackson is the best shooter.

Jackson is probably the favorite out of all the perimeter players with an offer to commit to Carolina.  He has been a fan of the program for quite some time and has been coming to UNC basketball camps each summer since eighth grade.  Jackson recently cut his list down to six schools in a tweet Arizona, Ohio State, Texas A&M, UNC, Virginia, and Washington.”  He and Justise Winslow have also kicked the tires on a package deal.
