Reggie Bullock named ACC Player of the Week
Following a career-best 24-point performance against Maryland Saturday, North Carolina’s Reggie Bullock was named the ACC Player of the Week Monday. Bullock poured in 21 of his personal-high 24 points in the first half against the Terps, out-scoring the entire Maryland team for the first 20 minutes. Bullock was 4-for-7 from 3-point range and added five rebounds in the contest. (GoHeels.com)

Three To Look Back At/Three To Look Forward To, Jan. 21
Yes, Reggie Bullock had a career-high 24 points and outscored Maryland single-handedly in the first half, 21-20. But James Michael McAdoo scored eight of UNC’s 20 second-half points, and while it wasn’t always pretty for him, he had three of his five offensive rebounds in the final 9:16, when Maryland was starting to creep closer. Tar Heels In the NBA Update
Vince Carter, Dallas Mavericks: Carter recorded season highs in four separate categories last week. Facing the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 15-year guard/forward sunk 10 field goals (season-high) plus five free throws to tally a season-high 29 points. Carter put up 15 points and added a season-high six assists and three blocks (season high) against the Orlando Magic Jan. 20. (GoHeels.com)

Colin Moran Named Perfect Game Preseason All-America
Junior third baseman Colin Moran was named to Perfect Game’s Preseason All-America Second Team on Monday. Moran is coming off a sophomore campaign that saw him start 41 games and pace the Tar Heels at the plate with a team-high .365 batting average. The Rye, N.Y., native tallied 11 doubles, three home runs and 35 RBIs for Carolina in 2012. (GoHeels.com)

Reggie Bullock Impresses With Career Day
The atmosphere in the Smith Center was electric, and it seemed to pulse straight through Reggie Bullock’s veins. He notched eight points in the first 1:30 of play and rounded out the first half with 21 points, eclipsing the Terrapins’ 20. “It was pretty in the first half — it looked like North Carolina basketball,” head coach Roy Williams said after the victory.
