UNC Basketball Recruiting: Another Felton in the Heels Future?

Raymond Feltons nephew Jalek Hamilton is making waves as a young prospect who’s a rising 8th grader with aspirations of following in his uncles footsteps and playing for the Tar Heels one day.

Hamilton who will legally change his name to Felton lives with Raymonds parents and is set to be the starting point guard next season as an 8th grader for the Mullins Auctioneers this winter. Raymond Felton, Sr. says that Jalek is athletically ahead of Raymond as a rising 8th grader.

Jalek has been playing on Team Felton in the AAU ranks, a team sponsored by his uncle. Jalek is no stranger to the spotlight and has received a lot of hype over the last year in part due to his mature game and his famous uncle who works with him whenever he can on his game.

Jalek made no secret of his future aspirations stating that he just wants to go to the University of North Carolina, get a couple degrees and play in the NBA.

Check out highlights and commentary of Jalek’s game in the video below. He makes the comment about wanting to play for the University of North Carolina at the 1:16 mark in the video.
