Kevin Reddick, Sylvester Williams Selected To Senior Bowl
North Carolina linebacker Kevin Reddick and defensive tackle Sylvester Williams have each accepted an invitation to play in the 2013 Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 26, in Mobile, Ala. The Senior Bowl annually features the nation’s top NFL draft prospects. (GoHeels.com)

2013 New Year’s Resolutions for College Basketball Teams
North Carolina: Find a lineup that works. Perhaps it’s not a total surprise Roy Williams hasn’t found the right starting five. In filling in for Reggie Bullock, P.J. Hairston scored 15 points with four rebounds and four steals against UNLV in his first start of the season. When Bullock returns from a concussion, Williams will have to return Hairston to his bench role or play a smaller lineup. (Athlon Sports)

Scott Forbes, North Carolina: Forbes has proven himself as an elite developer of pitching talent and has helped the Tar Heels reach the College World Series five times since joining the staff before the 2006 season. “He’s ready to run a program. An updated primer as ACC basketball begins
There are always plenty of twists and turns during the Atlantic Coast Conference season — and this time around, we may get a few more, thanks to the expanded 18-game conference slate. Bennett still unsure if Evans will play against UNC
Virginia coach Tony Bennett says he probably won’t know until Saturday whether Jontel Evans can return to action in time for Sunday’s ACC season opener against North Carolina at John Paul Jones Arena. The senior point guard has missed nine of Virginia’s 13 games this season, including the last four in a row, with a right foot injury that required surgery back in October. Reggie Bullock not yet cleared to play
North Carolina starting wing Reggie Bullock, who suffered a mild concussion a week ago during practice, is doing more each day. However, he still hasn’t been cleared to play in Sunday’s ACC opener at Virginia, a team spokesman said Thursday morning. (ESPN.com)

Jonathan Cooper, Brennan Williams, Sylvester Williams choose same agent
Three University of North Carolina players have chosen their representation, all going with the same individual. Todd France of Five Star Athlete Management will represent offensive guard Jonathan Cooper, offensive tackle Brennan Williams and defensive tackle Sylvester Williams. Additionally, early indications are that all three UNC players will train at Athletes Performance in Arizona. (Sports Agent Blog)

Jordan Brand Classic Moves To Barclays Center in Brooklyn
The 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic, the nation’s premier high school all-star game, will be held in Brooklyn, the birthplace of Michael Jordan, on April 13, 2013 at Barclays Center. The game had previously been held in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc., will announce the rosters in early February, which will feature multiple members of ESPNU’s Top 100 players. (Jordan Brand Classic)

UNC Football: Is Bryn Renner Making a Mistake Returning for Senior Season?
Bryn Renner announced via his twitter account that he was in fact returning to Chapel Hill to be the North Carolina quarterback his senior season. First a disclosure, I am a big fan of Renners and I love what he has done at Carolina, he’s been a model Tar Heel, a leader and one of the best QBs in UNC history. But this coming back for his senior season might have actually been a mistake and here’s why. (KIH)
