North made the transition to WR after transferring to Mallard Creek last season after playing quarterback and running back. North adapted quickly and accounted for 39 passes for 1,022 yards and 19 touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound North is an extremely dangerous player. A rare athlete for his size, North has breakaway speed to go along with his large frame. He returns punts and kicks while starring at WR full time. North’s senior season was cut short when he underwent season ending surgery two weeks ago, his recovery time is about four months.
North who was picked as the top prospect in the state of North Carolina in November and is the best highest rated prospect among Carolinas outstanding offers. North has been down to the Vols and Tar Heels since early November and is still mulling his decision and recently posted this tweet.

UNC looks good at receiver going into 2013 after a strong season from freshman Quinshad Davis the healthy return of T.J. Thorpe and incoming freshman Ryan Switzer, Jordan Fieulleteau and Jonathan Howard. The team is also strong at tight end with Eric Ebron and Jack Tabb, running back Romar Morris also won a ACC receiver of the week honors. Adding North would give head coach Larry Fedora another big, strong and fast target to run his fast paced high powered offense. North has attended several basketball games in Chapel Hill and rumors around his situation have pointed him towards Carolina. No exact timetable on his decision is known at this time although he is not expected to drag it out to signing day.
