This guy is good, I mean this guy is 5 Star good. I mean take it to the house every time he touches it potential. TJ Logan people that is who I am talking about. He can do it all, run, catch, and even play in the defensive backfield (though don’t expect to see him on defense at UNC). Think Romar Morris speed with a ton more wiggle. The guy just has it. He is faster that even UNC great Gio Bernard, he may not be quite as elusive but when he gets a hole he can hit it and their is no catching him.
The fact that he is from North Carolina (Northern Guilford HS) makes him one of the bigger recruits in Larry Fedora’s first recruiting class (never mention the fact UNC is going to have to replace Gio Bernard). The only one that may be bigger is Tyrone Crowder. I love Marquez North but UNC will be ok at WR with or without North. While UNC does have Romar Morris, with the amount that Fedora loves to run the football and the number of backs he likes to have Mr. Logan is a far more important recruit.
Recruiting NC is a HUGE HUGE HUGE deal for whom ever the coach is at UNC. Getting the top talent from your backyard is what successful college teams do and Logan is the top skill position player in the state. If Fedora makes it a habit of getting the top two or three skill position players in the state every year, to run his high powered offense, he may never have to worry about that side of the ball. I focus on skill position players because other than a few hear and their NC is devoid of truly great OL talent. Fedora will need to look South and to the Midwest for that but in NC their is speed and talent but only enough for one school. Fedora is making UNC that school.
TJ Logan is probably the second best offense recruit during Larry Fedora’s brief tenure so far at UNC. That is saying a ton considering whom the best is (Eric Ebron, I will tell you why at a later date). TJ Logan when added to the other playmakers on the
offensive side of the ball goes from being simply an incredible talent to make UNC’s offense one which is probably only stopped by themselves. I just don’t know too many defense across CFB that could prepare fully for a team as loaded on offense. Bryn Renner, Eric Ebron, Quinshad Davis, Sean Tapley, TJ Thorpe, Romar Morris, Ryan Switzer scary names, now put a guy who has amassed 2500+ yards rushing and averages more than 3 scores a game with dynamic speed and vision on the same field as these guys. WOW watch out UNC fans the best of Fed-Ex is yet to come.
