UNC Football Recruiting: Ryan Switzer Named Preseason AFI ALL-USA Team

The American Family Insurance ALL-USA Team named their 2012, 24 man roster, including Ryan Switzer, a rising wide receiver/running back out of Charleston, W. Va who is committed to the Tar Heels. The 24-man team is made up of two, 12 man teams for each side of the ball and is comprised of players from the 2013 and 2014 classes.  The team was selected by USA TODAY Sports’ Jim Halley, with help from recruiting analysts Mike Farrell of Rivals.com, Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network and JC Shurburtt of 247sports.com.

It’s no surprise to see Switzer on the roster after an impressive summer tour of practices.  Switzer plays mostly running back for his high school but has seen most of his action at wide receiver and is seen as a WR college prospect.
